DUGOUTS

The dugouts are finally taking shape. Block was delivered this week and the visitors dugout started to take shape today. Please be aware that we are still actively seeking donors to the baseball dugout program. If a parent, parent's business, relative or neighbor has a desire to help in this effort, please have them contact Coach Miner or Coach Studdert. The dugout facilities will help in providing a quality baseball experience for generations to come!

We were extremely grateful to LoneStar Builders for their generous donation. It was a great way to kick off this project. We look forward to further corporate sponsorship!

Everything To Gain

I was going through some thoughts I have collected over the years looking for something for a friend and I found this ad that I used to have taped to my mirror for a couple of years after I graduated high school and I thought I would share it with you too.

Too often we are scared
Scared of what we might not be able to do.
Scared of what people might think if we tried.
We let our fears stand in the way of our hopes.
We say no when we want to say yes.
We sit quietly when we want to scream.
And we shout with the others,
when we should keep our mouths shut.
Why?
After all,
we do only go around once.
There's really no time to be afraid.
So stop.
Try something you've never tried.
Risk it.
You have nothing to lose
and everything
everything
everything to gain.

Year End Items

May 10-14 Schedule

Tuesday--those in the 4B advanced conditioning class will hand in uniforms. Please make sure you have white and gray pant, white top, gray top and the maroon top. As well, we will also hand in the BP pullover.

Many have expressed interest in buying the BP pullover. If you so desire, pay $45.00 to the finance office ASAP. When you hand in jerseys, show me the receipt or hand in the pullover.

Beginning Thursday, we will begin having interviews with each player relevant to the topic talked about after the Springville JV game. We will interview those in 4B first and then go to the others after school. Meet by the coaches' locker room Thursday.

On a business note, make sure to empty your lockers ASAP. Coach Boyack will be placing notices and stuff left behind will be donated to D.I.

Information for summer ball will be coming shortly. We need to know your level of interest, commitment, and availability. Games will be similar to last year with a varsity team playing Monday and Wednesday and the under varsity playing Tuesday and Thursday. Season will go from first of June to mid July.

Talk to you soon.
